Hygiene Products
SCA is represented in Turkey with incontinence care products under the brands TENA, Glory and Rinacare, making SCA the second largest producer of incontinence protection in Turkey.
SCA is also offering Rozi feminine care products, Baby Star baby diapers, Komili Bebe baby care products, Komili and pam toiletries. The products are sold within the joint venture SCA Yildiz. Baby Star is the fourth largest baby diaper brand in Turkey.
SCA Turkey and SCA Yildiz are located in Istanbul.
Packaging
SCA Packaging has a joint venture with Çukurova, covering four locations: Kemalpasa (Izmir), Tarsus-Icel, Manisa and Yalova.
Forest Products
SCA Forest Products has no presence in Turkey, but the country is a market for solid-wood products (represented by Nicholas Sitaras) and pulp (represented by Reis Pazarlama Ve Ticaretas in Istanbul).
History
1992 SCA aquires 15% of the packaging plant in Kaplamin and 15% of the containerboard mill in Selkasan. 1995 a box plant in Yalova, Istanbul is created in a joint venture with Cukurova.
2008 San Saglik is founded.
2011 SCA acquires 95% of San Saglik including the brands glory and rinacare. The same year SCA aquires 50% of hygiene company Komili from Yildiz including brands Rozi, Baby Star, Komili, Komili Bebe and Pam. The operations are organised within the joint venture SCA Yildiz.
